Perfect Lips!

I'm writing this post because I always get asked about the lip products I use. I am no expert on make up, I just love finding great products that I love and I am happy to share it with you all.

So here are my top 5 lip combos that I use all of the time.

Catrice Long Lasting lip pencil in "Hey Macadamia Ahey!"

Mac "Blankety" Lipstick

This lip combo makes the perfect nude lip. Not too pink and not too brown. I mainly use this Mac lipstick as a base as it has really soft finish and looks perfect under other lip products. The lip pencil is my favourite and I use it with all my nude lipsticks or a lip gloss. In my opinion you need to find a perfect nude for you. Everyone's lips are a different pigment, some have more naturally pink lips, others more nude. What looks great on someone else might not look the same on you.

Mac "Blankety" Lipstick

Mac "Stone" Lipstick

This lip combo is fast becoming my everyday favourite. It's a darker nude/brown/grey tone to it, which adds a little interest to your lips without making them stand out too much. The "Blankety" colour is perfect to use under more matte lipsticks like "Stone". It will not dry out your lips and they will have a nice sheen to it.

BarryM Lip Liner in Red

This is my all time favourite red lipstick. Trust me I have tried so many red lippies and I always go back to this one. It is a small bit drying on the lips but at the same time it's not too matte. Very long wearing, doesn't bleed and it's very affordable. For me it wins over any high end lipstick brand and I don't know what I would do without it.

NYX Lip Butter Gloss.

These are the perfect nude glosses. Very affordable, looks great on its own or over any nude lipstick, not sticky and smell divine. My favourite colours are "Tiramisu" and "Creme Brûlée"

Rimmel London Long Lasting Finish by Kate Moss nude lipstick in shade 45

Ok I know I'm obsessed with nude lipsticks and glosses but it's the perfect colour for everyday wear and when I find something I love, I don't ever wont to live without it. This nude lippie is the perfect colour that's really soft on the lips with a nice sheen to it, non drying and again a BARGAIN!

My lip product collection doesn't end here. I have so many lipsticks and glosses in my drawer which are all probably going to waste because I am always going back and forth between these five.

YMS TIP: keep your lips soft and hydrated with good nourishing lip balms. I swear by the Forever Aloe Lips lip balm or Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip protectant stick it has SPF 15 for days where you only want to wear this. Also the 8 hour skin protectant that can be used on lips and lots more.
